Our February was fairly warm, so we spent our time outside a bunch. We still had Mr. Corbin come over once a week back then. We REALLY miss seeing him so regularly. This particular day these boys were hamming it up and smiling the best smiles. I love them both so much. We also got some shots of the dogs because I was testing out our camera's different settings.
Like I've mentioned, we LOVE our camera. It's been so much fun to try to take more artistic photos of Noah.
An event that I always look forward to happen in February as well-Comic Con! I have so much fun dressing up as a witch to promote This Is The Place's Witch's Ball. This time for FanX we decided to take advantage of our passes and visit some celebrities we love. I love my job!!
Our Seahawks made into the Super Bowl again this year! We are still cheering hard even though they lost (terribly). Representing our colors at church again and enjoying an afternoon of yummy food and family time.
One little scary happening of our February was the discovery of a lump in my left breast. After getting it looked at, the doctor determined we better remove it. It ended up being a benign fibroadenoma, but we are happy it's removed and I don't need to stress about it. This experience helped me feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude for my life, my husband and Noah. I'm so lucky.
We love living next door to a farm! Miss Jane is the cutest, and Noah loves it when she is over.
Noah is so good about showering. Since we don't have a bath tub downstairs, he had to learn to shower pretty early on. He is growing up so quickly.
In my favorite class during Spring semester at the U, my best friend Rob came to speak on a creative person panel. It was so awesome hearing all about his dreams with his band. I am so excited that his first full length album is finally about to be released!
Valentine's day isn't necessarily my favorite holiday, but I love any excuse to make sugar cookies. I did hearts and some XOs. Noah chose....an airplane. Go figure.
As part of our Valentine's weekend, Papa Doug took us all to the monster truck show! Noah was more than excited, and he talked about it for weeks afterward.
For our Valentine's date, I requested Craig come to an acroyoga class with me. He's a good sport. I love yoga so much, so I was glad he "sacrificed" to come with me.
The week after Valentine's was over we set up our Holiday Tree for St Patrick's Day. Noah loved the pot of gold!
We started doing auditions and rehearsals for This Is The Place's Vignette team. I seriously adore these people with all of me. We have so much fun together.
How is it that two boys can grow up so much in just a few months?!
We took the opportunity to go to The Leonardo museum to see Body Worlds. It is so fascinating to me. It was a fun double date with the LeCheminants.
