This is Craig Knight two years ago. He and I dated for about two years previous (so pretty much all of high school). He were madly in love high school style. He was everything to me. Then came the time that I went down to Snow College. Soon after I left he got his mission call to the Florida Tallahassee Mission. The day came that he left...I was sad; I was going to miss him a lot. But I just knew that for this young man a mission was MUCH needed. He would love a mission.
Unfortunately, as most missionaries, he got a letter with the title Dear John from me just a few months out. I still wanted to obtain a close friendship, though. We did. We wrote off and on throughout the rest of his mission.
The last day of his mission came so fast! I couldn't believe he was coming home.
The day came. I was thrilled. We have been talking and seeing each other pretty much every day. Now, don't get any ideas. We are just on the DL (lol why did I decide to put this post up? Oh for Holly's sake...). Seeing how I am basically the only girl he's ever dated, we've decided to keep our relationship very open for now. But I tell you what it is so nice to have my best friends back from their missions! It's wonderful. I can actually call them when I'm feeling down instead of writing a letter and waiting a week or three for their response.
I'm so grateful for missions, though. It's amazing how a boy can leave for two years and truly come back a man.
I'll work on getting some Christmas pictures up now.
