Easter weekend was tons of fun this year!
First, Noah got to do the Annual Baker Easter Egg Hunt. A family in the Pioneer Ward host a fun little hunt in their backyard. We LOVE the Bakers. They are the sweetest family.
After a fun hunt Saturday morning, we got on Trax to head up to Franklin Covey Field. Oh wait, it's called the Spring Mobile Park now. I forgot. Anyway, Craig's favorite baseball team, the Seattle Mariners, was in town playing the Colorado Rockies. Many people don't know this about my dear husband, but he is sort of obsessed with baseball. He is always looking at scores on his phone nowadays. He even had a countdown to the season opening. So to say that he was excited for this game is a bit of an understatement. His dad gifted Craig (the family) with 10 tickets at Christmas. The morning of the game Craig said, "It's like I've waited 3 months to open the best Christmas present ever."
The seats were incredible-right behind the Mariners dugout! Craig was in heaven. Noah even got a ball from a Mariners player! We had the best time. I love going to baseball games. Something about the atmosphere really is nostalgic. We were so happy to have so many of our friends with us!
The weather was perfect for the game. We weren't expecting it to be quite as warm, so we all got a little sun. That night we were all exhausted from all the fun!
The next morning the Easter Bunny visited us! Noah didn't hesitate going through his Batman bucket at all. He got cars and tools, of course.
I remembered to get Noah in his Sunday outfit, but I spaced getting a picture of us all. He looked so handsome!!
During Noah's nap, I wanted to dye eggs. I failed. Apparently it's been too long to remember how to do it right. Meh, there's always next year.
Easter weekend weather was PERFECT. Of course it snowed the next week, but I'm glad I got some tulips while it was warm!
Easter Sunday night, we had dinner over at the Skalla home. Noah and Capri had their own little egg hunt in their backyard.
Noah was all for picking up the eggs until he saw the John Deere lawnmower. We had to pry him off for dinner.
We still got some eggs, though!
Noah and cute Capri are only 2 1/2 months apart. Poor Noah got my short leg gene, though.
HAPPY EASTER!!
