Day One

Howdy. I found a really cool idea from a friend of mine. She is doing the 30 day blog challenge. It is such a great idea, so I decided to do it! Find her blog here.

Day One: Post a picture of you and fifteen things about you.

1. I was able to fulfill one of my lifetime dreams of going to New York City (hence the picture above) just this past May. See the post I did about that trip here.

2. I am madly in love with my high school sweetheart. He is my husband now, and I cherish everyday waking up next to him.

3. I secretly miss Ephraim, UT. Only a little bit, though.

4. I adore Zooey Deschanel, but that is sort of obvious. She is just so...classy.

5. Singing is something I plan to live off of. It is not only part of who I am, it is something I cannot live without. Jeanette=Music.

6. I really love eating BBQ potato chips. A lot. 

7. I am obsessed with Christmas. Yes, I am one of "those" people who start listening to Christmas music the day after Halloween. I just REALLY love the spirit that comes during the holidays. Thanksgiving does a perfect job of starting the season, too. If only we could ALWAYS remember what we are thankful for.

8. My favorite color is purple.

9. I really like brushing my teeth. It is one of my favorite feelings.

10. Because of my husband and father, I really love Star Wars. They have taught me well.

11. I have a really cool family. My kid brother is serving in Iraq right now (Air Force), my mom and dad were both Marines. I have such a respect for our country and the people who fight to keep it FREE.

12. I get excited when I hear opera music. I LOVE the opera. 

13. I am left handed. It is so interesting how many people don't know that about me.

14. One of my favorite places to go is my Aunt Syd's house. I love the memories I made in American Fork with my cousins, Alexis and McCall. I adore them and will never forget them.

15. I want a really big dog, something like this.
