Thoughts into Words

My life is such a roller coaster. I am always enjoying it or hating it. In the not too distant past, it was the latter. I was being so negative about the situation I am in, and there wasn't anything anyone could say to make me happy about it. Ephraim is cold, wet, and miserable. School is getting even more boring than usual. It seems my classes are getting easier rather than harder. I would come home and sit around after quickly finishing my homework. Normal college students put that off until the night before it's due, and go out with their friends to "hang." Not me-I get it done and have no one to hang out with. This everyday motion-coming home, doing homework, not hanging out-was really starting to get to me.

For some reason, last week I had an epiphany. I could change this! (I know, what a thought, right!) I made goals. I broke out my wedding notebook. I went over to the music building and taught myself random songs-just for fun, not because I had to. I sat around meditating and enjoying the quiet in my life. Then on Saturday I went to the most beautiful part of Sanpete Valley. I did baptisms at Manti Temple.

An overwhelming sense of gratitude filled my heart. I am so blessed. God loves me so much, and He continues to make my life better and better each and every day. I have an amazing fiance, who loves me endlessly. I have such great friends! They are always helping me and telling me their support of me. My family is absolutely incredible. My parents are doing so much to make sure my wedding is what I want. My little brother is doing such a good job in the Air Force. My grandparents tell me their love for me. My in-laws-to-be are amazing, always thinking of ways to help me and Craig start our marriage off well. I have SO much to be grateful for, and I just forgot that all I had to do is step off this "roller coaster" to remember that.

I am excited to take my engagement pictures with Craig. We have an awesome photographer. (Kelly David from Gallery Photography) I have been looking at ideas of outfits to wear for the pictures. I really like some of these pictures.

This is such a perfect cake. I am in love with the daisies on it. It's the purple I want! So pretty.

I really like the brown boots. I'm pretty sure I will do that for some of the pictures.

This picture makes me smile. I want my hair to have a braid like this.

I am so thrilled to be getting married. Craig is such an amazing guy. He is my best friend, and I honestly cannot think of my life without him in it. I have a great life.
