Holy Cow!

I honestly cannot believe it is December already. This year has just flashed by without asking how fast it could go. I am SO excited for Christmas. I am really looking forward to spending it with the Smith's! I am really anxious to talk to Jourdan, too. It will be a bittersweet thing, I'm thinking. Work is going really well. I should be hired on as a full time staff member starting in January. My title will be the Special Events Coordinator's Assistant. Basically it means I do whatever they need me to do. Ha ha. I am very pleased that I have worked up there. This Is The Place has a special spot in my heart forever now. It is just such a neat place. I love it.

Zoe is getting so big! I miss her small puppiness, but she is growing into a cute dog. She loves everyone! It's funny-I think if we had a burglar in our home, she'd just run up to them and start licking them. She isn't afraid of anything. It's cute.

My mom is crazy. She has been working like a mad woman! She picks up any and every extra shift she can. Unfortunately, one of those shifts is on Christmas Day. I know if she did have it off, it would just be a weird Christmas anyway because it would just be me and her. I hope she knows that I love her and appreciate all the work she does-and I don't just mean out at the prison. She is such a great mom and a great friend, too. I love her!!!

So, Merry Christmas! I love this time of year! I love the reason of the year even more. Christ truly is the reason for everything. He is my Savior. He atoned for all our sins. I am so grateful to have a big brother who loves me that much. I love Christmas. Please go and serve all you can this year. It's what He would want us to do. :D
