Salt Lake Comic Con

Comic Con came to Salt Lake City! Of course we had to go! Craig mentioned this really cool drawing of his favorite Sailor Soldier, Sailor Jupiter, back in July when he went to San Diego Comic Con. I decided to go all in and dress like her for him. Cosplay. It's crazy popular among the nerds. Noah joined in the fun dressed as Finn the Human from Adventure Time.

There were some amazing costumes, guys! This dad dressed up as the Grinch, and his daughter dress as Cindy Loo Hoo. She was so cute! Everybody wanted their picture.

The line to get in was quite ridiculous, even if you had already purchased your ticket. I hope they figure out a better system for next year's con.

The lego exhibit was by far Noah's favorite spot. They had a "choo-choo" going all the way around all the very large table. Each section was a scene from a movie. Jurassic Park, Batman, Back to the Future, Superman, The Lord of the Rings-just to name a few. It was amazing!

I got to hang out with my favorite boys for a bit... Haha

This little darling came up behind me and gently grabbed my skirt. She's dressed as Luna, Sailor Moon's cat. When she saw me, she wanted a picture with me. It was so cute, and she made dressing up worth while for me. (Even if the skirt was quite short for my liking...)

Noah also loved seeing all the different cosplay and booths.

Well, he liked them until Craig thought this would be funny, which, as sad as it is, was quite hilarious!

It was a great time, though I don't know if we would have Noah come next year. There were just way too many people to have a stroller there. Maybe Craig and I will make a date out of it! Thanks for coming to Utah Comic Con!
