Cross Country

My best friend had to move her two kids, all she had, and her car back to Georgia this past week. Noah and I made the journey with her. I must say that drving 35+ hours with 3 babies (ages 3 years, 11 months, and 1.5 months) was something that we will always remember. I spaced bringing a "real" camera, so most of my pictures are Instagram/iPhone pics. Would I ever do this trip again? No sir. Did I love it? Meh. Am I glad I was with my best friend and three babies I cherish dearly? Yes, very, very glad. I am grateful for Jessi and for our lifetime friendship!
Noah LOVES big dogs.

We staged Buzz and Woody in the back window waving at the cars behind us the whole trip.

He does not like bowls, plates, or anything that contains food. He just wants the food.

One the third day of the drive, we planned on a "relax" day. We only drove 5 hours from St. Louis to Nashville. As a birthday present to myself, I booked the night at this AMAZING hotel. It's called Union Station. It used to be an old train station. I felt like a celebrity. The staff called me by name-Mrs. Knight-and there were even robes. It was an upgrade from the other hotels we stayed in, to say the least.

Once we got to Georgia and found Jessi a house, she drove us down to Daytona Beach to see my dad. I love the smile my dad gets when he sees Noah! I wish I could go down there more often.

This Jeep was the center of attention for the boys.

What's a trip to Daytona without the boat/beach time?

Noah loves the water!!

Noah got his first sunburn this trip. It blistered and all.  I still feel awful.

My grandpa John volunteered to drive us the two hours to Jacksonville for our plane ride home.

Noah was fascinated with the workers gassing up the planes.

Little N man isn't feeling too well being home. I hope he didn't catch some gross virus on the planes. (Yes, planes. We had two layovers.) His sleep schedule is a bit off still, too. Hopefully by the end of the week we will both be recovered from this fun but long trip.
