5 Months

Noah is 5 months old. He is still the best, in my humble opinion. His little personality is coming out little by little everyday. It makes me SO excited to see it.

On March 14, Noah had his first haircut! The smaller clippers made a really loud noise, which made him cry, but other than that he did great! I would like to plug in here that Cookie Cutters is a fantastic option for young children's haircuts. They are quick, nice, and do a really good job.

He is such a happy baby. Although I'm pretty sure he has been in the beginning stages of teething, his fussiness is so easy to handle. I am grateful I have a baby who would rather be laughing than crying.

He has begun to show attachment to a couple of his toys-the butterfly and the Tigger. He gets all excited whenever we hand him one of those. He grabs at everything now. We have to be careful now because as soon as he has something in his hand, it's going to go straight to his mouth. He finally likes tummy time, so it's a matter of a couple months before he starts crawling around. I really need to begin super baby proofing. It will happen before we know it!

My lil Rachmaninoff

According to our house scale, Noah is 16.2 lbs. He is just on the brink of switching to clothing size 6-12 months. On the warmer days we have been having I usually put him in his summer stuff. I love rompers. They are so cute.

We love our morning walks!! Noah usually falls asleep by the time we are done, but he LOVES looking around at the beautiful spring colors.

We began the adventure of solid food mid March. We tried rice cereal twice. Both times ended in epic failure. He does NOT like the rice. Next we tried oatmeal. WINNER. We stuck with oatmeal for two weeks, then expanded to bananas, apples, and now peaches. He isn't quite sitting up unsupported yet, so we haven't tried much else just in case. I have decided to look for a co-op to join this summer season to get fresh fruit and veggies to puree. He is always trying to get a taste of what we are eating, so I know I will need to start getting a good storage of food for him going here asap.

Everyday I wake up and see his smiling face, I can't help to think of how blessed my life truly is.
