So let me catch you up on my life. My best friend, Jessi, is having a baby. On the 9th we will be finding out what it is. I really really really want her to have a girl for some reason. But regardless of the gender, I'm just excited for her and Brad! They are going to make excellent parents.

I am now working at Macaroni Grill as a hostess. I sing opera stuff, too. It's super fun, and the food always smells so good. I LOVE Italian food. My dream is to one day go to Italy....oh the day that happens I'll be one happy camper.

The year of 2008 was a year of discovery for me. I discovered so much about myself. I was often confused:
But I figured out a lot. I now know what I want. Usually it takes people years to officially know what they want, but I really know it now. I want to get a degree in Music. I want to teach voice. I want to sing, oh how I want that! So, I have made a pretty big leap and decided to go back to Snow in the fall. Snow College has the best music program in the nation for a junior college. The professors are amazing, and I really do love Ephraim. I am auditioning for a music scholarship on the 21st of February. I'm nervous, but I know with all my heart that this is what I want, what I need, what my Heavenly Father has in store. I am so excited to get started! I can't wait.
So last in this post, I wanted every to know how much I love Jessica Lynne Gogan Gertsch. The past month she has been such an amazing friend for me. I know she'll always be there for me. She and I are coming up on 10 years of being friends. I think it is so neat that we are still best friends. We've gone through so much. We've fought a lot, and probably have a few more good arguements ahead of us, but I know with all my heart she will be my best friend.

That is really cool that you truly know what you want to do at this point! I hope all goes well with the audition and Snow is a fun place. I didn't know it had such a gool music program.
