PTM Reunion

So you know when you are going to marry someone when you go to their mission reunion. Nick served in the Philippines Tacloban Mission. This past Friday the mission had a get together because the mission President, President Trask, came home. It was actually not as boring as I thought it would be. One of his companions, Elder Erickson, is from Canada. He and his wife, Elder Wolsey and his little sister, they all came down from Canada. I enjoyed their company the most.

Here is Sister Gaskin. She and her companion were the only sister missionaries in Nick's entire mission. She was the coordinator of the event.

Here are Nick and I with President and Sister Trask. They are such amazing people. I love their testimonies and the love they have for the Filipinos.

Nick was just so excited the whole week. He is so cute.

Elder James and Nick. James is from Arizona. He and Nick were companions.

Here is President Trask. He is very friendly...and likes to hug you. His smile is huge too.

The Canadian girls and me. Hilary Erickson and Natalie Wolsey. We hung out most of the time because we all spoke English while at the reunion when everyone around us spoke Cebuano or Tagalog.

A bunch of hooligans.

I am so glad Nick was worthy to serve for two years in a country that is just now drowning themselves in the gospel. Apparently since Nick has left, about 10 months now, 3 new branches opened. That is amazing progress. I love his attitude about his mission, too. He will always have such a love for the Filipino people. I love Nick. It's great....

Oh...and don't mind the hair on me...it's a color mess up that will be soon changed. Blonde highlights aren't too good looking on me...

You do look very cute all the time, I'm not sure what you're referring to! I love mission reunions. Although, it is kind of tough going to them when they are not your own... but it's fun to see who your other half served with and loved.

By the way - your mom looks great in the wedding photos! I'm glad she's so happy! Looks like a tough dude - then again, she's one tough chick!
